Two chefs, an architect designed building, and a lot of passion

The Iconic Evelyn County Estate in Kangaroo Ground has taken on a whole new personality with the coming together of two Award winning chefs to create the new restaurant, BrownKorte’s at Evelyn County Estate.
Chefs GORDON BROWN and MARTIN DE KORTE decided to create a restaurant experience that would entice the locals and their families back to the estate, producing honest, affordable food that will create an unforgettable dining experience.
Both chefs bring together a wealth of experience from Europe and Australia, creating a 5 star Experience combined with a relaxed atmosphere at BrownKorte’s Restaurant.

Our food Philosophy

The best description for the boys culinary designs are Modern Australian with a hint of Asian flavour thrown in along the way.
Honest yet sophisticated has been used to describe some of the dishes that are on the menu, using top quality produce, local where available and affordable, cooked with no short cuts to create well balanced flavours.
The boys have colourful characteristics which can certainly be seen by the presentation on each plate and the time that is spent on each menu design to delivery consistency and quality each time.
